RE/MAX Georgia ("we," "us," or "our") operates the RE/MAX Georgia mobile application (the "App") for Android and iOS systems (Package Name: ge.remax.app). This Privacy Policy explains our commitment to protecting your personal data in strict compliance with the Google Play Developer Program Policies, the Apple App Store Review Guidelines (Guideline 5.1.1), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection.

By installing or using the App, you consent to the processing of your data as defined in this policy. If you do not consent, please delete and discontinue use of the App.

2. Information We Collect

We only capture personal information that is essential to render property-search services and coordinate communication with our real estate offices and certified agents.

A. Personal Information You Actively Share

The App allows anonymous browsing without accounts or registrations. However, when you inquire about properties or offices, you submit lead forms containing:

• Full Name: To identify you and facilitate personalization.
• Phone Number: To allow agents or office administrators to call or contact you back.
• Message Contents: Specific questions regarding properties, pricing, or locations.

B. Automatically Logged Data

To support stability and diagnostics, the App utilizes third-party tools that collect:

• Device Metadata: OS version, device model, hardware specifications, and system locale settings.
• Crash Logs: Automated stack traces and error files collected when the App crashes, used solely to fix performance bugs.
• Notification Keys: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to push listing updates or agent alerts. You can disable notifications anytime via system settings.

C. Local Key-Value Storage

We utilize local files (via SharedPreferences on Android and UserDefaults on iOS) to store persistent configurations on your device, including language preferences (Georgian vs. English), color mode settings (Light or Dark), and locally cached property favorites.

3. How We Use Your Information

We apply the data collected to maintain security, optimize software performance, and execute our core business operations:

• Lead Forwarding: Forwarding your contact request directly to the specific RE/MAX agent or office you select in the contact sheet.
• System Reliability: Reviewing performance graphs and crash outputs to fix software bugs and improve load speeds.
• Push Notification Distribution: Delivering transaction status, property alerts, or marketing updates (where permission is granted).
• Service Personalization: Keeping your preferred language and layout styles cached across sessions.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Under Georgian Data Protection Acts and the GDPR, our legal bases for handling personal data are:

• Consent: When you actively fill out and send a property inquiry form, or allow push notifications.
• Contract Performance: To satisfy your explicit requests to connect with agents regarding real estate sales or rentals.
• Legitimate Interests: Running and security-hardening our app infrastructure, debugging crash logs, and assessing anonymous usage patterns.

We prioritize security and do not sell, rent, or lease your contact directories or lead files to outside third-party marketing brokers. Data sharing is limited to:

• Chosen Real Estate Professionals: Handing your name, phone number, and inquiry messages to the specific RE/MAX agents and local offices you selected.
• Backend Hosts: Safe, secure cloud infrastructure providers that host our app databases.
• Law Enforcement: If required by court orders or governmental decrees, or to protect the safety of RE/MAX Georgia, our customers, or the public.

To safeguard your submission folders, we maintain high standards of cyber defense:

• SSL/TLS Encryption: All data packets exchanged between the App and our backend API are secured via HTTPS network tunnels.
• Data Access Control: Access to agent dashboards and customer lead sheets is locked behind strict role-based firewalls.

However, note that no digital transport method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute data protection.

8. Data Retention & Your Rights

We store your inquiries only for the period necessary to complete the corresponding business communication (such as organizing property visits).

Your Legal Rights:

• Right to Access: You can request a summary of the personal details we have stored about you.
• Right to Rectification: You can ask us to correct spelling errors or incorrect details in your lead history.
• Right to Erasure: You can request immediate removal of your lead history and personal data.
• Right to Decline Push Communications: You can turn off device permissions in OS settings.

Data Deletion Requests:

Since the App does not require accounts, leads are registered under your Name and Phone Number. To request deletion of your information, send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "REMAX Georgia App - Data Deletion", stating your name and phone number. Deletion will be completed within 30 days.

9. Children's Privacy

Our properties and real estate services are strictly directed to adult users (18 years or older). We do not knowingly collect records from minors under 13 (or under 16 depending on legal jurisdictions). If we identify children's details in our system folders, we delete them immediately.
